Preconceived Notions: The Kinks is one of my dads all-time favorite bands and This Man He Weeps Tonight is one of my all-time favorite jams (not on this album). Not sure if they pioneered the sound but I do believe they made distortion popular.
After Listening: I love The Kinks.
Favorite Tracks: Waterloo Sunset, of course. Two Sister, Death of a Clown, Afternoon Tea and Tin Solder Man
Least Favorite Tracks: If I have to choose its End of the Season. It was more depressing than that time I listened to Radiohead for 1.5 hours trying to leave school… last night.
Overall: 4.5. It’s a classic.
